The Challenge:
To the Moon, To Mars, and To the Stars…

The Atos IT challenge 2022 theme set for the student teams was to develop a mobile or web application supporting activities in Space which would benefit to society as a whole.

As Atos is at the heart of a number of activities in Space, satellite systems and IT services to Space agencies, we wanted to see ideas which brough real value to business.

The teams were encouraged to use a variety of technologies and techniques to support their investigations such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, analytics, image analysis, APIs, and platforms.

We saw some excellent and innovative submissions with the finalist teams bringing applications which we are now looking to move forward with in a commercial setting, truly delivering value to our business whilst offering a positive impact on society.
